Mayweather vs Mosley Highlights and box results for all the day.The boxer Floyd Mayweather was reluctant to confirm a “mega fight” against Filipino Manny Pacquiao, after decorating their record undefeated with a comfortable win over fellow American Shane Mosley. Boxing fans have tasted the possibility of a Mayweather-Pacquiao match, only to decide the mythical title of best fighter “pound for pound.”
It was expected that Pacquiao will face Mayweather earlier this year, until the negotiations for the fight failed due to U.S. demand to perform random doping tests. Mosley finally took the place of the Filipino as a rival.
“If Manny is the test (blood), we can make the fight,” Mayweather said in a press conference at the MGM Grand Garden Arena stadium after beating Saturday night to Mosley.
“If not, we will not have a fight. If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight, it is difficult to find. Do not go around challenging fighters,” added the American, who left his place as the best fighter “pound for pound” after Pacquiao withdrawal of 21 months ending in September.
Mayweather stressed the need to carry out doping controls.
“If the fans want to see happen (the fight), I too, but we have to fight a level field. If all athletes are clean in boxing, do the test,” said Mayweather.
However, the U.S. also expressed its interest in another potential adversary in a higher level: junior middleweight champion and medium Sergio Martinez, Argentina.
“I was thinking about that,” admitted Mayweather, who with the victory over Mosley improved his record to 41 victories by knockout, -25 and no defeat. “We do not know what I do. All I want is go home and relax,” he added.
Considered the best defensive fighter of his generation, Mayweather surprised Mosley out to attack, with a much more aggressive than expected.
“I had something to prove: see who the best welterweight up there,” said U.S. after dominating in 11 of the 12 rounds of combat.
“Everyone was talking about that Mosley is stronger, faster. I hit him more than he hit me. After a while, I think Mosley was in survival mode, all trying to do was survive,” he said.

Mayweather is a GAY, he don’t want to fight the pound 4 pound KING Manny Pacquiao because he’s afraid to loose. That is why he has a good strategy against the Filipino icon which is the random blood test and trying to rule Boxing. I think FM put it best, would you refuse millions of dollars more to fight , just because you have too much pride to take a drug test? Well it was worth multi millions for manny to back out, just because he will not test. After last night i am behind FM 100%, he is the best living boxer period and one hell of a business man, and the pride of the USA. Test can be made after the fight. So file a case if found out to be using heineken during the war. Did Gayweather require his prevoius opponents to take dope test a day before the fight? As if Manny is being treated differently amongst other opponents.
