Apple TV: New Informations

Apple TV is an interestin idea and I think that Apple TV is a profitable business for Steve Jobs.I like Apple TV but it seems that at the begining Apple TV was not such a big succes.True to its marketing strategy, Jobs left yesterday to end the big news of the day to which he characterized as “hobby.” After admitting that Apple TV has not been a success, the head of the company introduced the new version of its audiovisual strategy whose first novel is that it is a service that only allows movie rentals and purchase programs and not as before. I like Apple TV very much.
For Jobs, the advantages are clear. It is cheaper (99 cents in the case of television programs and 4.99 d in the case of new movies in high definition) and should not be managing storage devices. The new Apple TV, which requires a decoder to see on TV that is 75% smaller than its predecessor, will also see Youtube and Netflix services (the movie rental company in the USA). The price of the box is $ 99 and will be in a month in the U.S. market. So far only Fox and ABC will provide content. Jobs expects the rest of the companies “see the light soon.” Apple TV is a good business for Steve Jobs.
In addition, Jobs introduced new versions of the iPod and the iTunes software with ability to connect with social network users to see what they are doing with their friends music or games.
More competition
But Apple has competition in the field of broadcasting content. Amazon is negotiating with major media companies, including GE, NBC, News Corp, a paid service subscription in the network which will provide a catalog of films and programs that do not necessarily have to be new. It is standing up to Netflix in the U.S., a company that has extensive video library is gradually being accessible through the Internet in addition to the television. Apple TV is great.
Amazon wants this service can be accessed through the Internet but also through the Xbox 360. The store has taken its first steps into the territory of the content and sell emissions episodes of TV shows and movies. Sony, nor want to get off the hook and announced a new music service, Qriocity, allowing users of its television sets and other hardware access movies on demand. It is a service that has already been proven in the U.S. and Europe will fall.I like Apple TV very much.
